London’s noisy-pop quartet Adults impressed many with last year’s cassette release of their excellent EP, The Weekend Was Always Almost Over. The EP caught the ear of the Spanish label, Caballito Records, who’ve now pressed it to that lovely shiny vinyl stuff. Celebrating that news, today we’re sharing the new video, for one of the EP’s finest tracks, Alex Keep Yr Hands To Yourself.

Created by Gemma Grange, the video, to those of a certain vintage, plays out like an homage, accidental or otherwise, to Feeder’s Just A Day. A series of questionable characters singing, dancing and generally having fun along to the track.
Musically, Alex Keep Yr Hands To Yourself is classic Adults; the blistering energy of the rhythm section loosely thrashing about beneath reverberating guitar chords and yelp-along vocals. Nodding to the likes of This Many Boyfriends or Los Campesinos! it is indie-pop at its most frenetic, fun and unapologetically lo-fi. A delightful reminder of why The Weekend Was Almost Always Over was one of 2018’s most enticing releases.
